24 Vertebrae
24 is not just the number of hours in a day — it is also the number of vertebrae that form our spine. Together, these 24 vertebrae support the head while allowing it to remain light and free, ready to capture every signal from the environment and respond accordingly. Most of our sensory organs are located in the head, making it the periscope of our body.
The spine must be both firm and flexible at the same time. Becoming aware of the three planes of movement in which the spine can — and must — move enriches our range of motion and expands the full potential of this remarkable axis.
In this seminar, we will explore different combinations of movement across the various planes and spinal segments, helping them communicate and interact more freely. You will gain not only flexibility and strength, but also a deeper awareness of your spine — including those vertebrae that are normally hard to feel or engage.
The lessons in this course are built around unusual and surprising movement combinations, designed to open your perception to the hidden possibilities of your spine. You will learn how to “wake up” vertebrae that have gone to sleep, and give well-deserved rest to those that have been working so hard they have become a source of pain.
